Project Manager | Expertise in Emerging Technologies, Cloud, AI/ML, Blockchain & Agile Methodologies

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the Other Technologies team in the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions. This role is central to aligning the team’s development initiatives with Synechron’s business objectives and driving strategic value through the effective management of projects in emerging technology domains such as cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT.

Software Requirements
 

Required:

• Project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello) — proficient usage in managing and tracking project progress

• Collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence) — working knowledge for effective team communication

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum software tools (e.g., Rally, VersionOne) is essential

Preferred:

• Hands-on knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Awareness of AI/ML, blockchain, and IoT development environments and tooling

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the Other Technologies team by managing and prioritizing development initiatives in line with Synechron’s business goals

• Drive innovation and problem-solving through collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures supporting Other Technologies adoption and effectiveness

• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable quality to ensure timely and successful project completion

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present technological insights

• Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and high standard deliverables

• Remain current with industry trends and advancements in Other Technologies to inform strategic decisions

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Programming Languages:

  • Preferred: Basic familiarity with languages relevant to cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, or IoT environments (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Solidity)

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Essential understanding of database concepts related to emerging technologies

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Required: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Preferred: Awareness of AI/ML frameworks or blockchain platforms

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Required: Agile, Scrum methodologies with applied project management experience

  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools

• Security Protocols:

  • Basic knowledge related to emerging technology security best practices preferred

Experience Requirements

• 12+ years managing projects within Other Technologies domains such as cloud computing, AI/ML, blockchain, or IoT

• Proven ability to translate technical development goals into business value

• Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments managing cross-functional teams

• Preferred experience in technology consulting, product development, or software engineering project management

• Alternative pathways include demonstrated leadership in technology initiatives driving innovation and business solutions

Day-to-Day Activities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of Other Technologies initiatives

• Facilitate regular meetings such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and progress

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project status and insights

• Mentor and support team members’ professional development and quality of output

• Monitor industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices and identify innovation opportunities

• Manage resources, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies within projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred

• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum Master) is advantageous

• Commitment to continuous professional development, including industry trends and emerging technology knowledge
