The PM oversees Direct Access & Imagery Platform Protects, supporting the end-to-end process across the entire Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) workflows for international customers.
The PM coordinates with Direct Access Program, Customer Service, Product & Engineering Managers, and Collection Planning Teams to lead the following key efforts:

- Program Planning: Lead delivery of platform, ensuring it supports customer mission requirements in line with Maxar's business goals.
- Operational Performance: Monitor performance and financial metrics and report both internally and to the customer.
- Schedule Coordination: Align multiple teams with mission objectives and product roadmaps.
- Release Management: Oversee release schedules and readiness, ensuring visibility and alignment with program objectives.
- Operational Delivery: Work cross-functionally to solve complex customer issues and act as the "Voice of the Customer" within Maxar.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks early to keep the project on track.
A successful candidate collaborates well with teams and communicates professionally with customers, stakeholders, and teammates. A strong mission focus is essential due to the critical nature of the customer's objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for all contract-related execution and performance.
- Manage schedule, performance, and risk, including forecasts and invoicing.
- Develop new business opportunities within and outside the task order.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders at Maxar and the customer.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of Project Management experience in the last 5 years
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Earth Observation and GIS.
Desired:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience in Defense & Intelligence
- Ability to travel up to 20% internationally
