Project Manager / Scrum Master – EDP & QData Business Continuity

Lead Agile delivery across 3-5 concurrent workstreams for a large SAP S/4HANA transformation and data continuity program (QData/EDP). Coordinate SAP, development, QA, data engineering, and enterprise data teams; manage sprint cadence, dependencies, UAT sign-offs, compliance (SOX, GDPR), and JIRA reporting to ensure continuous, audit-ready deployments and business continuity.
Our client, a leading global healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional teams supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and Business Continuity program. This role will play a critical part in coordinating delivery across SAP, application development, qData implementation, quality assurance, business analysis, and enterprise data teams while ensuring successful execution of multiple concurrent initiatives.
The successful candidate is an accomplished Agile leader with experience managing enterprise technology programs, facilitating collaboration across technical and business stakeholders, and driving predictable delivery in complex environments. Experience supporting SAP ERP implementations or migrations.
This is a contractual role which will run through the end of 2026, with likelihood of extension. The candidate must be flexible to work in the client’s preferred working hours, which will be the EST time zone.
The Role:
- Strategic Agile Orchestration: Direct the full Agile lifecycle across 3–5 concurrent development workstreams (encompassing DEV, QA, and Systems Analysts) dedicated to the QData and EDP roadmaps. Govern sprint cadences, from high-velocity backlog grooming to precise sprint planning, ensuring that technical debt is managed alongside feature delivery.
- QData & Data Ecosystem Delivery: Collaborate with engineering leads to manage the intricate dependencies of cloud data pipelines (AWS, Snowflake, Datasphere) and SAP landscapes—specifically as they relate to the continuity and scalability of the QData platform. Ensure stories are sufficiently decomposed to support continuous integration and rigorous testing required for enterprise-grade data solutions.
- Compliance, UAT & Sign-Off Governance: Act as the primary business-facing conduit to drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for both QData and EDP releases. Manage the formal content sign-off process with strict adherence to internal governance and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, financial data compliance), ensuring every deployment meets operational and audit-ready standards.
- Tooling & Intelligence: Utilize advanced JIRA capabilities (custom dashboards, complex querying, and dependency mapping) to provide executive-level transparency across all QData workstreams. Translate velocity and burndown metrics into actionable insights that preemptively resolve bottlenecks before they impact business continuity.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify interdependencies and potential failure points across the data supply chain. Implement agile contingency strategies to safeguard QData availability and quality, ensuring zero disruption to business operations during the modernization lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years in Project/Delivery Management, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to leading Agile/Scrum teams (DEV, QA, and Analysts) in complex, multi-workstream environments.
- Technical Fluency: Proven, hands-on experience managing initiatives tightly coupled with SAP systems and modern cloud data platforms (including AWS, Snowflake, and SAP Datasphere/BDC). Experience specifically with enterprise data continuity or data warehousing initiatives (such as QData) is mandatory. You must be conversant in data engineering concepts to challenge effectively and guide technical leads.
- Agile Expertise: Deep mastery of Scrum mechanics and administrative rigor. You do not just run meetings; you optimize them for value delivery.
- Tool Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in JIRA (including advanced filtering, custom workflow configuration, and report generation).
- Stakeholder Management: A track record of successfully navigating complex business environments to secure UAT sign-offs and manage executive expectations without sacrificing team velocity.
