Work Type: Two-year Fixed Term Contract

Key Purpose of this RoleAs Project Manager - Sustaining, you will lead CAPEX project upgrade of two switch gears to completion with a meticulous focus on safety, scheduling, and budgets. Your role includes managing contracts, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring industry standards are met, overseeing project execution, and addressing risks. You will guide your team, maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure smooth operations and timely approvals.

Key Accountabilities of this RoleLead and ensure safety, health, and environmental management for all project activities.
Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and risk delivering projects aligned with AGL objectives.
Oversee and coordinate AGL and contractor teams, promoting resource efficiency and continuous improvement.
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical advice and support during tender, contract negotiation, and project execution.
Tertiary qualification in engineering, project management or similar disciplines (Project management qualifications preferred).
Experience in Substations, electrical, switch yard background & delivering complex projects, ideally in renewable energy.
Have managed energy projects with EPC contract models.
Accountability for delivering projects exceeding $20 million.
Demonstrated high standard of safety performance.
Proactive management of construction contractors.
