Are you looking to make an impact and be part of shaping the future of healthcare?
At Semble, we're looking for a Project Manager who can lead complex, multi-stakeholder SaaS implementations end to end. You'll bring structure, rigour, and empathy to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to scope, while creating a smooth customer journey from contract signature through go-live and handover.
Semble is on a mission to enable health professionals to amplify their impact. 1 in 6 people in the UK have received care from a clinician using Semble. We're building the AI care orchestration platform for modern healthcare, connecting scheduling, clinical records, billing, and diagnostics so 1,700+ healthcare organisations can deliver faster, safer, better care. In June 2026 we closed a £30M Series C to accelerate our growth.
At Semble, our team is proud to unite under strong cultural drivers:
- Impact — We do work that matters.
- Collaboration — We are in it together.
- Human touch — We care deeply.
This role can be fully remote in the UK with occasional travel to our London office.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to our Head of Delivery, you will own the full project lifecycle for major customer implementations — planning, governance, execution, and handover — working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Migrations, and Product.
You will:
Lead end-to-end delivery
- Define scope and success criteria, develop Work Breakdown Structure and schedules, and run hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery as appropriate.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, critical paths, milestones, and resource plans across internal teams, Managed Service Providers, and outsourced developers.
Run project governance
- Establish RAID logs, change control, and clear stage gates from discovery through hypercare.
- Facilitate project ceremonies and steering committees, producing concise status reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
Control scope, budget, and risk
- Manage scope creep with formal change requests, track budget/effort burn, and proactively mitigate risks and dependencies.
Coordinate stakeholders
- Align Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Migrations on requirements and acceptance criteria; maintain a crisp RACI and communication plan.
- Act as primary point of contact for the customer throughout implementation, building trusted relationships and ensuring timely decisions.
Assure quality and readiness
- Lead UAT planning, cutover/runbooks, go-live readiness checks, and structured hypercare.
- Produce and maintain documentation, templates, and workflow maps; drive continuous improvement across our delivery playbook.
Measure and report outcomes
- Define and track KPIs (time-to-value, on-time delivery, scope change, CSAT/NPS, post-go-live defects) and use insights to improve delivery.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering customer-facing software implementations (ideally in healthcare SaaS, or another regulated domain).
- Strong project management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, quality, RAID, change control, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication — able to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable plans for internal teams and customers.
- Experience eliciting and baselining requirements and managing traceability to acceptance.
- Comfortable coordinating Managed Service Providers and outsourced developers.
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams to outcomes in fast-paced, high-growth environments; comfortable working autonomously.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for process optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Tools: confident with common project management and collaboration tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project, or equivalents).
- Nice to have: PRINCE2, PMP, or Scrum Master certifications; healthcare domain knowledge.
How we'll measure success
- On-time, on-scope delivery for strategic implementations.
- Budget/effort variance within agreed thresholds.
- Time-to-value and adoption targets met post go-live.
- Customer CSAT/NPS and stakeholder feedback.
- Reduction in post-go-live defects and rework.
- Clear, consistent reporting to leadership and customers.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and all walks of life, including any typically underrepresented groups in the technology industry. We also encourage applications from disabled and neurodiverse candidates, so if there are any adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process, please let us know.
