We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, responsible for managing the delivery of a major virtualisation and infrastructure modernisation initiative, replacing a legacy Hyper‑V estate and standing up a new secure hosting environment. The role involves coordinating multiple technical workstreams, third‑party suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

In parallel, you will support the definition and early delivery phases of several large capital IT initiatives, ensuring clear scope, governance and delivery plans are established.

Here’s what the role looks like:

  • End‑to‑end management of complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Coordinating delivery across multiple technical towers and suppliers
  • Managing dependencies, risks, issues and delivery milestones
  • Working within a maturing PMO and evolving delivery model
  • Engaging with architecture, security and operational teams
  • Producing and maintaining core PM artefacts (plans, RAID, reporting, budgeting)

Requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, risk management, and reporting capability.
  • Experience working within utilities, energy, regulated, or critical national infrastructure environments.
  • Proven IT Project Manager
  • Infrastructure delivery experience is desirable
  • Comfortable running projects in fluid and evolving environments
  • Experienced working with multiple suppliers and integrators
  • Pragmatic, delivery‑focused and able to bring structure where needed
