The Real Estate Coordinator is responsible for collaborating and supporting the Magna Corporate Real Estate Department on a wide range of real estate matters and providing administrative support to the team. In addition, this role is responsible for coordinating with all Magna Groups and Divisions and the Magna Corporate Real Estate transactions team in connection with lease administration, real estate transaction project support, and the submission of real estate expenditure requests. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Real Estate.

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Real Estate.
Your Responsibilities
- Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 annually
- Immediate, open position
- Create, review and analyze summary reports for the purpose of tracking real estate transaction critical dates
- Administer real estate approval process for all real estate expenditures and assist Magna Groups and Divisions with real estate approval requirements in advance of key dates
- Prepare routine documents, agreements and correspondence relating to all real estate transactions
- Liaise with landlords, consultants, contractors and other external service providers for the purpose of supporting real estate projects
- Provide guidance to Magna Groups and Divisions on global real estate policies, guidelines and procedures
- Perform clerical duties including organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic files, records and correspondence and provide systematic follow up, including maintenance of internal property data base
- Provide general administrative support to the Americas real estate team as required
Who we are looking for
- Completion of Lease Administration program, Legal Assistant program or equivalent
- Minimum five years' experience in a lease administration position or equivalent
- Background in commercial real estate
- Advanced computer skills employing a variety of software applications, including database management

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to participate as an effective team member and to support departmental and organizational goals and objectives
