  • Partner closely with Corporate Finance teams including Controllership, Treasury, Internal Audit and Tax

  • Drive improvements in working capital, inventory management and financial discipline

  • Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, incentives and organisational development

  • Contribute to cross‑regional and cross‑functional initiatives across Europe & Latin America

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a confident, credible finance leader with a strong commercial mindset and the presence to influence at senior level.

You’ll bring:

  • 15+ years’ experience in senior finance leadership, commercial finance or controlling roles

  • A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA or equivalent)

  • Experience working in a private equity–backed or similarly fast‑paced environment

  • A strong track record of business partnering and decision support

  • Experience leading large, multi‑entity finance teams

  • Excellent analytical and financial modelling capability

  • The ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders

  • Resilience and confidence leading through change and transformation

Experience in distribution, multi‑SKU retail, software or healthcare environments is preferred, with animal health sector experience a plus.

  • Office based role with remote working

  • Regular travel to Covetrus locations across the UK & Ireland
