  • Advise on the evolution of the group's capital allocation framework to support strategic growth and ensure the optimal use of financial resources.

Regulatory Impact Assessment & Change Management

  • Partner with second-line risk and finance teams to assess and model the impact of new initiatives on the group's ICARA, including own funds, liquid assets, wind-down plans and stress testing scenarios.

  • Provide strategic input into the firm's capital and liquidity forecasting, particularly how planned projects will influence future operating and financial resource needs.

  • Assess the regulatory reporting and control implications of new business activities, ensuring new ventures can be seamlessly integrated into our existing frameworks.

Horizon Scanning & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Monitor the global regulatory landscape for upcoming changes (e.g., 'Basel 3.1', DORA), analyzing their potential impact on the Group's strategy and business model.

  • Monitor the global license and product landscape across the Wise Group, collaborating with regional leads to provide regional support and analyze the impact on Group’s strategy and group ICARA.

  • Manage and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and business lines to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to prudential management

Regulatory Reporting & Control:

  • Design, implement changes to first-line regulatory reporting and prudential control framework, ensuring robust governance and processes are in place to mitigate reporting and compliance risks.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the regulatory reporting function, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and control.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

  • Demonstrable track record of providing strategic input and challenge to the ICARA process, particularly in assessing the impact of significant business changes.

  • Deep, technical knowledge of prudential regimes (e.g., MIFIDPRU, CRR), with proven experience applying this knowledge to new products, international expansion, or other strategic projects.

  • Significant experience interacting with regulators (e.g., FCA, PRA, NBB) on complex, non-standard queries and strategic initiatives.
