Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the UK, largely including OEM and the sub-tier.
- Sales Execution: Support the implementation of sales strategies by actively managing assigned key accounts to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Cycle: Manage day-to-day sales activities for assigned accounts, including order processing, follow-up, and customer service, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and account updates to inform regional management and support strategic planning.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations with customers in cooperation with sales leadership by gathering information and preparing necessary documentation.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the region to provide insights that support sales efforts.
- Customer Solutions: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate the delivery of customer-specific solutions and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Networking: Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the region to support business development and strengthen customer relationships.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 6+ years of experience in technical outside sales and marketing.
- Proficiency with common CRM tools (Salesforce etc.)
- Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP being highly desired)
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- A bachelor's degree in economics, business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on sales & marketing.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience within the aerospace and/or defense industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aviation material sales and services in a previous role.
- Experience working with OEM and Tier 1 customers, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) providers, Fixed-base Operators (FBOs), Helicopter Operators.
