About your role:
We are looking for a Relationship Account Manager to join our New Business & Net Zero team! As a Relationship Account Manager, you will work closely with the Installer Network Commercial Lead. You will empower installers to:

  • Deliver high-quality installations for customers they serve.

  • Claim rewards for upselling and cross-selling Hive and British Gas products.

  • Support installers in growing their businesses.

You’ll spend your time working closely with installers, feeding back to the business what you see and hear. This role involves collaborating with senior team members, including operations, design, product, and technical teams, to ensure the program is completed on time and to high standards. It's an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career.

Location: Remote/home-based working but with a requirement to be in the Windsor office 1 day p/w.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist in engaging key stakeholders, such as tradespeople, merchants, SMEs, and OEMs.

  • Setting up meetings to gather key data insights to help shape our future model

  • Empower installers to use the Hive Installer App to upsell and cross-sell products.

  • Attend face-to-face meetings with merchants to drive the Hive Installer Network, pivoting our business towards a more direct supply model with installers.

  • Organize and attend trade mornings.

  • Support the development and response to installer insights, contributing to initiatives that bring relevant and attractive customer propositions to market.

  • Implement new operating and commercial models to trial and test as we release features.

  • Collaborate with product and digital teams to help design and set requirements for the technology platform.

  • Participate in cross-team meetings to drive growth across Direct and Partnership channels.

  • Support financial forecasting processes.

  • Provide day-to-day support in commercial decision-making on pricing, business cases, activities, and budget proposals.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to suggest campaigns and creative ideas

Here's what we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a commercial role.

  • Experience working with merchants, installers, SMEs, and OEMs is critical.

  • Strong sales skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.

  • Ability to account manager, bringing an obsession for excellent customer service and naturing exceptional business growth.

  • Ability to deliver results to target, as an individual and within a team.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving dynamic retail environment.

  • Confidence to influence and engage, building relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Organised with strong planning capabilities.

  • Able to identify problems and develop practical solutions.
