The Boeing Global Technology team based at the Boeing Aerospace Innovation Centre (AIC) in Prestwick, Scotland, are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team for a three-month summer internship in 2027. Our team of around 60 people at the AIC work on innovative, cutting-edge technology development, from robotics and automation, to composite fabrication, and digital engineering. Our team of multi skilled engineers work together in our 100,000ft2 state of the art research facility at Prestwick International Airport in the West coast of Scotland, to develop manufacturing technologies that will help to build the next generation of aircraft.
Position Responsibilities
As a Research and Technology (R&T) intern you will be given a real-life industrial challenge to solve over the course of a three-month placement. Working on your own, or as part of a small team, you will be given the tools and support from a highly skilled R&T team to develop a solution that is both innovative and cost effective. The project will be split between the office and the workshop as you plan, develop, and deliver a working solution.
