About the Role

Our research teams have access to massive volumes of unmatched data collected from some of the largest enterprise and public networks in the world. While your time at ThousandEyes as an intern might be limited, your impact will be immense! You will be paired with and mentored by a full-time researcher on an internet measurement project, where you will help develop and author an original research paper leveraging ThousandEyes' data.
Qualifications

Working towards a PhD in Computer Science (we will consider strong master’s students with research experience demonstrated through publications)

Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP, etc.)

Existing portfolio of network measurement projects (publication and/or course projects)

Expert in Python

Experience with SQL and NoSQL (e.g., Mongo, Hadoop)

Great written, verbal, and persuasive communication skills
This is a paid summer internship opportunity and successful interns will be considered for full time jobs upon graduation. This role will be based in the UK and open to remote or in person at one of our hub locations - London, UK, or Lisbon, Portugal.
