The Role
We are looking for a Resourcer & HR Assistant to join our People team. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role provides a fantastic entry point into a career in HR, offering hands-on exposure across recruitment, talent sourcing, HR systems, and employee administration.
You will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring an efficient, professional, and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. Alongside this, you will support core HR administration, including employee records, contracts, and system management.
This is a varied and fast-paced role ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and keen to develop within a modern, forward-thinking HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all interview scheduling and assessment logistics, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and stakeholders
- Partner with hiring managers and Talent Partners to support clear, well-defined role briefings and hiring requirements
- Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, talent pools, and other channels to build strong pipelines
- Review applications and produce high-quality longlists for Talent Partner screening and assessment
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS (BambooHR), ensuring data is kept up to date throughout the recruitment process
- Support the preparation of offers, contracts, and pre-employment documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with HR administration, including employee data management within HR systems (HRIS)
- Communicate professionally and clearly with candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders
- Support recruitment reporting, tracking key metrics such as pipeline quality, speed, and hiring progress
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and enhance efficiency and candidate experience
- Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives as required
About You
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Curious and proactive, with a willingness to ask questions and learn quickly
- Able to exercise good judgement when reviewing candidate information and supporting selection processes
- Comfortable working with HR systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
- Professional, discreet, and able to handle confidential information appropriately
- Emotionally mature, objective, and able to remain professional in sensitive situations
- Adaptable, coachable, and motivated by continuous improvement
- A proactive, service-oriented mindset with the resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
Location
This is a home-based role within the United Kingdom, with occasional travel required for meetings and in-person recruitment activities.
