FNZ is seeking a 1st Line Risk Analyst (Multi-Disciplinary) to join our First Line Risk team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a global FinTech business, supporting effective risk and compliance management across multiple disciplines including Risk Events, Audit coordination, Financial Crime, and Conduct.

You’ll play a key role in helping FNZ operate within its risk appetite while meeting the expectations of our clients and regulators — partnering closely with the business to strengthen controls, improve outcomes, and promote a strong risk-aware culture.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll support the application of FNZ’s Risk Management Framework, working across a broad range of risk

activities to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational and compliance risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

Risk Event Management

  • Supporting the identification, assessment, and reporting of client Risk Events within FNZ systems
  • Delivering Risk Event reporting with appropriate regulatory impact assessment
  • Partnering with clients and internal teams to complete root cause analysis
  • Producing monthly Risk Event Management Information
  • Working with the CASS Office on root cause analysis for CASS breaches and material events

Audit Coordination

  • Tracking and monitoring internal and external audits to ensure timely completion
  • Attending audit meetings, briefings, and workshops, supporting preparation and follow-up actions
  • Assisting audit coordination to ensure client reporting deadlines are met
  • Working with the business to gather samples and responses to support audit delivery

Financial Crime & Conduct

  • Supporting Financial Crime audits, risk assessments, and MI production
  • Partnering with stakeholders to challenge Financial Crime risk events and themes
  • Supporting Consumer Duty activity, including identification and mitigation of foreseeable harms
  • Maintaining Key Risk Metrics and supporting Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSAs)
  • Partnering with the business to strengthen conduct and financial crime control environments

Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Attending client meetings to discuss Risk Event themes, trends, and actions
  • Supporting governance forums and audit meetings
  • Managing actions to resolution within agreed timescales
  • Becoming a subject-matter expert in FNZ’s risk management systems
