The Account Manager serves as sales, business development and renewals support for the Regional Account Executive, helping the Regional team to achieve success through quota attainment and customer retention.

You will leverage your customer management, business and sales acumen, and technical skills to ensure you achieve the required customer renewal targets for your book of business. You will work closely with Customer Success and the Account Executive to ensure renewals are managed and processed appropriately.  Performing business development activities to build pipeline for the Regional team and working closely with the Account Executive to close new logos.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the cyber security industry, a consultative approach to working with customer stakeholders and a passion for sales and business development.

Here’s what you'll do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the customer organization
  • Develop technical proficiency related to use cases, technical landscape, and Synack solutions 
  • Perform outreach to prospects and conduct discovery calls
  • Build and expand our enterprise pipeline with emphasis on new logos
  • Prospecting into new and existing client base to discover opportunities and upsell
  • Work on renewal and expansion opportunities within existing customer base
  • Facilitate technical conversations and overcome objections with technical stakeholders
  • Work cross functionally with associated internal teams that help progress the selling effort
  • Work closely with the marketing team in conjunction with the Account Executive to plan industry and partner events
  • Keep accurate records of your sales activity and forecast of your pipeline in SFDC and Clari
  • Carry a quota for your Region and work deals through all sales stages

Here’s what you’ll need

  • At least 3-5 years junior account management and/or Business Development experience in the Cyber Security Industry or Technology Industry
  • Information security knowledge; general awareness on best practices, security risk management, and industry trends
  • Ability to identify leads within install-base and help grow customers 
  • Customer-first mindset and advocacy
  • Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and in-person and virtual presentations
  • Experience in a quota carrying role

£80,000 - £110,000

The range listed represents a reasonable estimate of the on target earnings for this role based on national salary averages. Salary offered to a successful candidate is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, role related education and skills. The compensation package for this position may also include equity and benefits.
