A lot has happened since then and today Stannah is a global business.  The family is in their sixth generation and plays a hands-on role in running the business. Most people know us for our stairlifts. Our range of products includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts. We also provide maintenance and repair services. 

Job Description

Sales Consultant Jobs in the UK at Stannah – Join Our Team!

Stannah have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join the Sales Department, working across homes throughout Edinburgh and the surrounding areas

This role involves professionally representing Stannah during home visits, understanding customer needs, surveying locations, and delivering safe, tailored stairlift and homelift solutions. You will play a key role in achieving sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer care, safety, and professionalism.

As a Sales Consultant, you will work Monday to Friday 37 hours a week, with flexibility required to meet customer needs. This role is offered on a permanent contract.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys face-to-face customer interaction, working independently, and being rewarded with uncapped commission while representing a market-leading brand.

To be successful as a Sales Consultant, it is essential that you have previous sales experience. Experience in field sales, in-home consultations, or mobility-related products would be desirable.

Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Achieve forecast sales targets, including sales volume, discounts, and conversion ratios

  • Conduct accurate surveys and provide suitable product recommendations

  • Develop strong product knowledge, including competitor offerings

  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, integrity, and safety

  • Respond to customer requests and deliver excellent service

Qualifications

Sales Consultant Requirements:

  • Proven background in sales

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Willingness to travel and cover different territories

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team

Salary £26,780 basic with uncapped commission. On-target earnings £70,000.
