WEKA is looking for a Sales Development Manager to join their growing UK Sales Development team. The mission of this role is to be a “player coach”, supporting in the development and growth of the SDR function. Our SDM will be responsible for building pipeline within their territory, carrying a personal quota, as well as team quota. Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales and Sales Development, this role will work closely with their team of SDR’s plus the wider Sales and Marketing functions. Responsibilities include: 

  • Player (SDR) / Coach -SDM will be responsible for building pipeline within their territory, carrying a personal quota, as well as team quota
  • Reporting to Director of Inside Sales and Sales Development 
  • Working closely with the SDR team to provide them with training and support 
  • Holding weekly 1:1s with your team of SDRs 
  • Lead SDR team to team and individual quota attainments 
  • Holding multiple weekly power hours and call blocks 
  • Frequent and effective communication with Director of Inside Sales and Sales Development 
  • Supporting SDR Director with the day-to-day management of the team 
  • Heavily involved in recruiting as the company scales up their sales development organization and shadowing/interviewing candidates 
  • Monitoring key metrics to analyze and improve the efficiency of SDR processes 
  • Prospecting and building the sales pipeline for the Regional Sales Management team by engaging with prospects by phone, email, social media and through online events 
  • Assist in evolution of Sales Development program and provide consistent feedback 
  • Encouraging creativity and strategic thinking when it comes to outbound prospecting campaigns (emails, cold calls, video-mails, events) to generate leads on well-identified target markets 
  • Contribute positivity and motivation to team daily  
  • Managing data in their CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and kept up to date 
  • Sharing ideas and best practices with the team to contribute to growth 


Desired Qualifications

  • Must be in the UK; Ideally London
  • Schedule flexibility and ability to work beyond 9am-5pm 
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally 10 times annually 
  • Proven success within the SDR position
  • 1+ years of SDR leadership experience
  • Managerial, coaching or enablement experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred: Business Administration (Sales, Management, Marketing); Information Technology 
  • Superb phone presence and pleasant personality 
  • Quick and eager learner with entrepreneurial spirit and positive attitude 
  • Strong team player mentality 
  • Precise organizational skills and ability to follow directions carefully 
  • Ability to nurture professional relationships as well as work cross-collaboratively internally 
  • Critical thinking skills and solve problems in a systematic manner 
  • Salesforce/CRM and Sales Engagement Platform (Outreach, SalesLoft) experience preferred  
  • Well-rounded knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office product lines  
  • Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills 
  • A strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment 
  • The ability to independently organize and prioritize your workload 
  • Experience using CRM software 
  • Tenacity and determination
