About the team

The FIS commercial lending sales team is a group of dedicated professionals focused on helping financial institutions streamline their commercial lending processes. They work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. This team leverages the FIS Commercial Lending Suite, which offers a comprehensive range of tools for the entire loan process, from origination to servicing.

About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping small- and medium-sized business owners grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
  • Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each major opportunity
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
  • Building and developing relationship to work with key client and new prospects at all relevant levels
  • Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics)
  • Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends

Requirements

  • Have experience in enterprise technology sales within Software as a Service (SAAS), ideally within the financial services in and/or Europe
  • Have experience in various sales methodologies such as Value-based selling, Challenger selling, Consultative Selling
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain an outbound mentality and have the ability to self-generate leads
  • Have experience effectively manage complex multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Industry knowledge within lending software is desirable but not essential
