We’re looking for a Sales Support Executive to support our Retirement Income business. The role sits within one Sales Support team but offers two possible areas of focus. You may work primarily as a Quote Specialist, managing queries, producing quotations and supporting re-quotes, or focus more on Lead Generation, speaking with campaign and marketing leads and arranging appointments for our sales colleagues.

    • Responding to quote requests, emails and telephone enquiries
    • Producing accurate quotations and processing re-quotes
    • Contacting campaign and marketing leads to identify potential opportunities
    • Arranging appointments for Telephone Business Development Managers and Business Development Managers
    • Supporting regional sales teams with pipelines, enquiries and follow-up activity
    • Building positive relationships with colleagues, intermediaries and firms
    • Recording quotations, calls and relevant information accurately in Salesforce
    • Identifying and escalating activity that may fall outside the intended target market

    Who we're looking for:

    • Confidence communicating with people over the telephone and by email
    • Experience in sales support, customer service, administration or a related environment
    • Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to managing workload
    • The ability to explain products or information clearly and accurately
    • Evidence of influencing appropriately and building effective relationships
    • A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
    • An interest in developing knowledge of Retirement Income products and the intermediary market
    • Knowledge of annuities, quote systems, Salesforce or an RO1 qualification would be helpful but is not essential

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

    • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
    • Generous pension contribution
    • Life assurance
    • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
    • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
