About The Job

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer / Salesforce Admin to join our dynamic team and help maintain, enhance, and ensure the quality of our Salesforce platform. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing and testing new features, identifying and resolving platform issues, and optimizing our Salesforce environment for high performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - from developers and product managers to business stakeholders - offering critical insights, best practices, and proactive solutions to drive seamless business operations. Responsibilities

  • Test Planning & Execution: Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and create comprehensive test plans/cases for Salesforce features.
  • Quality Assurance: Execute manual and/or automated tests to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce customizations (e.g., custom objects, flows, validation rules, etc.).
  • Issue Tracking & Resolution: Identify, document, and track defects using project management tools (e.g., JIRA); work closely with the development team to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Salesforce Administration: Perform configuration tasks such as user management, security settings, profile/permission setups, and maintenance of custom fields, record types, and page layouts.
  • Environment Management: Assist in the setup and maintenance of Salesforce sandboxes for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine QA processes, suggesting improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • User Support: Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting assistance to internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of Salesforce-related inquiries.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain clear documentation of test cases, configurations, and release notes; deliver training sessions or create user guides as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce QA and/or Administration.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), custom objects, flows, validation rules, and permission setups.
  • QA Skills: Proficiency in creating test plans, test scripts, and regression test scenarios. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Salesforce Admin Skills: Experience managing user roles, profiles, sharing settings, and other admin tasks to support day-to-day business operations.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations, data loader tools, and sandbox management.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) or other relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment with rapid iteration cycles.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English for daily communication with global teams.
