Join us as a Security Intelligence Specialist

  • Take on a new challenge and use your specialist knowledge to support the wider bank in building and operating secure services that protect both colleagues and customers
  • You’ll act as a subject matter expert in cyber threat intelligence, providing actionable insights to help the organisation anticipate, detect, and respond to emerging threats. You’ll analyse threat data, identify patterns, and deliver intelligence that informs strategic security decisions and operational response, ensuring the business stays ahead of evolving adversary tactics
  • You’ll be joining an exciting and fast-paced area of the bank, where you can expect great exposure both for you and your work
What you'll do

As a Security Intelligence Specialist, you’ll operate at a strategic level to deliver actionable threat insights that strengthen the organisation’s security posture. You’ll continuously monitor the evolving threat landscape, analyse adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, and provide intelligence that informs risk assessments, security controls, and incident response.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across security, technology, and business teams to ensure intelligence is embedded into decision-making processes. By fostering a culture of proactive threat awareness and innovation, you’ll help the organisation anticipate emerging risks and leverage the latest developments in cyber intelligence to stay ahead of adversaries.

You’ll also be:

  • Making sure that decisions made are based on robust data, return on investment and value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent cost management
  • Encouraging the identification of ideas and driving the delivery of initiatives that will reduce cost and simplify the bank
  • Building and leveraging relationships with colleagues across the bank and third parties to make sure decisions made are commercially focused and create long term value for the bank
The skills you'll need

You’ll need experience and knowledge of technology security controls within the security technology specialism along with an understanding of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team.

You’ll also demonstrate:

  • The ability to write technical issues in business terms
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge and experience of the legal and regulatory environment
  • Strong experience in cyber threat intelligence, including analysis and reporting
  • Strong Cloud security knowledge in AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Experience with intelligence tools and tradecraft, such as ThreatConnect
