What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with users, security experts, PMs, and data scientists on cutting edge AI agents that drive real value for our customers
- Develop tools, retrieval and planning strategies, and guardrails; manage prompts/evals; design fallbacks and human‑in‑the‑loop paths
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and partner teams to build cohesive experiences
- Prototype and see what works well, iterate closely with our users and experts, and then ship
- Follow the latest research on GenAI and AI agents
Who You Are:
- You have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related scientific field or equivalent experience
- You’re a backend engineer with at least 4 years of professional experience (Go, Python, Java, etc.) who values code simplicity and performance
- You have relevant work experience with LLMs, large-scale systems, machine learning, or adjacent fields. You’ve shipped software that uses LLMs to production
- You want to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment that values its engineers
- You are a good communicator and can drive hard technical conversations towards a pragmatic solution
- You have demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools in day-to-day workflows and validate, critique, and refine AI-generated output
Bonus Point:
- Excited to work in the security domain, with an understanding of how analysts investigate threats and alerts
- Fluency with offline/online evals for AI systems; can build reliable golden sets and automatic regressions
- Experience scaling products in a high-growth SaaS environment
- You’re motivated to push the boundaries of how AI can improve software engineering best practices and contribute to building AI-enabled products
