About this Role

Fandom is growing! Our Sr. Analyst, Commerce & Marketing Analytics opportunity is based in the United Kingdom, and reports to the Senior Manager of Commerce & Marketing Analytics. This position can be UK - remote or hybrid to our offices in Rugeley or London.

You will be a key member of the Commerce & Marketing Analytics team for Fanatical, Fandom’s online video game retailer. Your role will encompass exploratory data analysis, building reports and self-service dashboards, and providing insights and deep-dive analysis into the consumer journey and Fanatical’s performance in order to increase acquisition, conversion and retention. You will partner with and provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders, particularly our Marketing and Technology teams, while working closely with our Data Engineering function to help make sure every decision at Fanatical is informed by data.

You Will...

  • Provide insights and reporting that deepen the understanding of the customer and the impact of our marketing, merchandising, and product strategies - including attribution, churn prediction, lifetime value modeling, experiment methodology, and segmentation.
  • Analyze A/B and multivariate tests and serve as an advocate for proper experimental design and testing
  • Develop and regularly report against KPIs that accurately reflect the health and potential of the business, with a focus on marketing KPIs (marketing channel performance, LTV, CAC, etc.) 
  • Own and expand existing dashboards and reporting and democratize data access so stakeholders can better understand and act on data and insights
  • Proactively identify and produce new types of analyses and reports to meet business stakeholders’ needs
  • Support the enhancement of the analytics stack with new tools and technologies

You Have...

  • At least 3-5 years of data analytics experience, inclusive of Marketing-focussed analyses and models, e.g. segmentation, retention, loyalty programmes, MMM. 
  • Strong experience using SQL for multi-table aggregate queries 
  • Familiar with Python, including pandas and other associated data libraries
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present insights to technical and non-technical teams alike

Bonus Points...

  • Ability to apply statistical testing to real-world data
  • Experience with major web analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
