Our UK Construction business delivers a wide range of projects from leisure centers, to schools, prisons and many more integral places of life. ISG deliver both private projects for our clients as well Public Sector Frameworks from DfE, PAGABO, SCF, MOJ, MOD and more.
Role purpose
We are currently looking for a Senior Bid Writer to work closely with bid managers, directors, operational specialists and proposal designers to create high-impact responses that clearly respond to our clients’ needs with the Public Sector Frameworks. In this role you will have the autonomy for ensuring our written responses are bespoke and score highly against marking criteria using your creativity and experience to shape great content.
Key accountabilities
Attend start-up meetings with production team to agree strategy, content and actions
Provide written content for business-critical public sector national frameworks
Dissect questions and produce answer plans to maximise relevant information extracted from team members
Manage some key regional bid team relationships and share key information with the central team
Writing support on key target gold bids, particularly on executive summaries
Collaborate effectively as part of a variety of UK-wide bid and proposal teams
Skills & experience
A track record in a related field such as construction, engineering and property would be advantageous, but also infrastructure or any government based frameworks
Excellent writing ability with evidence of having produced written content for successful bids
A confident writer who can take raw information and create engaging and compelling written content, with good quality research skills and effective questioning techniques
Able to quickly develop effective relationships at all levels and build confidence and trust with senior management
Basic Adobe InDesign / InCopy skills would be beneficial
Qualifications
Preferably qualified to degree level or similar
APMP qualified or an openness to join our corporate programme to become qualified
