Location: This is an opportunity to work on a programme with an exciting pipeline of transformational work primarily based in the UAE, with return travel to the UK included as part of an overseas package.

Role Overview:

Leidos is seeking an accomplished, Senior Business Analyst Lead to support a large-scale Supply Chain technology transformation in the middle-eastern Oil and Gas industry.

You will lead, manage and co-ordinate a team of business analysts to empower our customer to establish, and deliver, your vision and value. Through offering extensive business analytics experience, business strategic and operations planning capability, change acculturalisation expertise and business transformation knowledge, this role with have a significant impact on programme/business outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establish an understanding of key business processes, their architectural components and associated operating procedures
  • Lead reviews and define target business/operating models and their components
  • Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organisation/project
  • Elicit, analyse, define and document business requirements
  • Evaluate, analyse and support business change impacts
  • Undertake large and complex data analytical activity as well as help to form data management strategies
  • Assist in establishing strategic vision and strategic journeys of businesses
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to understand the business drivers and desired outcomes, and ensure proposed solutions and prototypes are produced in line with these
  • Help to translate the designs into stories for the developers
  • Support User Acceptance Testing activities, by helping to define test scenarios and assisting management of testing and training
  • Help recommend and design modelling and testing approaches / methodologies
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, working to convince others to accept area’s view/current practices and agree/accept new concepts, practices and approaches

Skills Required:

  • BS degree and strong prior relevant experience or Masters with prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. 
  • Experience in Supply Chain transformation and/or Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience in Overseas working
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt
  • Agile Scrum Master
  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • Statistical systems such as Origin, Matlab
  • Data and Analytics knowledge would be advantageous
  • Reporting and Dashboarding knowledge would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within a large-scale and complex technology enabled transformation programme
  • Experience of ITIL/Service Management methodologies
  • Experience of working with partner organisation and 3rd party suppliers

Desirable Skills:

  • Agile Methodology: Applying an iterative approach to project or program delivery; this includes adapting to changing requirements, fostering collaboration, and rapidly delivering high quality solutions. 
  • Business Analysis: Evaluating business needs and requirements to identify appropriate solutions.  
  • Business Requirements: Defining and documenting the essential needs and conditions for achieving process and financial objectives.
  • Business Systems Analysis: Evaluating and interpreting business needs to create solutions that align with organizational goals, and facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams. 
  • Change Management: Guiding others through transformation processes; this includes identifying stakeholders, assessing the impact, providing relevant information at the appropriate cadence, and monitoring implementation.     
  • Cross-Functional Project Management: Coordinating across multiple departments/teams to deliver projects on time and within scope, ensuring collaboration and resource optimization. 
  • Data Analysis: Understanding the collection, processing, and evaluation of data to generate actionable insights and forecasts for decision making.  
  • Project Management: Leading and coordinating project execution by defining objectives, creating a plan and timeline, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring overall success. 
  • Quality Control (QC): Monitoring and inspecting products, processes, or services to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Systems Analysis: Examining intricate systems to identify issues, propose enhancements, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Pay Range:Pay Range £71,700.00 - £110,802.50

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
