What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll mobilise technology‑led change by translating business needs into clear, well‑defined requirements and solution designs. Operating at the intersection of business, data, and IT delivery, you’ll ensure initiatives are properly shaped, de‑risked, and ready for delivery, providing high‑quality analysis, documentation, and handover into delivery teams.

  • Lead early‑stage analysis to shape technology initiatives from concept to delivery‑ready definition

  • Work with stakeholders to define problems, opportunities, scope, assumptions, and success measures

  • Translate business needs into clear functional, non‑functional, data, and integration requirements

  • Analyse current processes and define future‑state processes using standard BA methodologies

  • Produce clear mobilisation artefacts including initiation documents, plans, risks, and dependencies

  • Assess technical, data, and integration impacts and coordinate with data and architecture teams

  • Provide structured handovers to delivery teams, maintaining traceability from requirements to outcomes

  • Support delivery, UAT, business readiness, and transition to business‑as‑usual

  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders

What you’ll bring

  • Degree level qualification in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience

  • Recognised Business Analysis certification (BCS or IIBA preferred)

  • Proven experience delivering data‑led or technology‑led change

  • Strong technical and data awareness, with experience working alongside data modelling teams

  • Proven ability to produce high‑quality requirements and solution artefacts

  • Solid project mobilisation and governance experience

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills

  • Experience in complex, regulated, or asset‑intensive environments

  • Experience working in hybrid delivery models (Agile / Waterfall)

  • Formal project management training beneficial but not essential

Minimum Criteria

  • Proven experience delivering technology or data‑led change

  • Strong requirements and solution definition capability

  • Confident engagement with business and technical stakeholders

  • Experience working in complex or enterprise environments
