Location: Bristol, Zurich, Edinburgh (Hybrid)

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work with Product Managers, Technology Analysts and Operational teams on major strategic projects, software development, or process improvements. You will be instrumental in developing our product in line with our organisational strategy, translating our vision into tangible product.

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Act as a senior-level business analyst within global, cross‑cultural organisations, applying a broad range of business analysis tools, techniques, frameworks, and Agile methodologies to deliver high‑quality outcomes in complex environments.

  • Provide strong domain expertise across banking operations, including asset servicing, cash and securities movements, reconciliations, regulated environments, and (where applicable) equity compensation, ensuring solutions align with business and regulatory needs.

  • Lead stakeholder engagement at all levels of seniority, facilitating workshops to elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements, while tailoring communication to influence diverse audiences effectively.

  • Drive process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to challenge the status quo and guide development toward strategic target-state solutions.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Technology/Implementation teams, demonstrating technical readiness and the ability to understand system details in order to shape both strategic and tactical solutions.

  • Deliver projects successfully and on time in challenging environments, leveraging strong governance, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.

Other skills required for the role

 

  • Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, applying a broad range of business analysis tools, techniques, frameworks, and Agile methodologies within complex, fast‑paced environments.

  • Proven experience working in global, cross‑cultural organisations, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and geographies.

  • Strong domain knowledge across banking operations, including asset servicing, cash and securities movements, reconciliations, regulated environments, and desirable exposure to equity compensation.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with solid process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement skills to challenge the status quo and drive strategic target‑state solutions.

  • Strong technical awareness and readiness to work closely with implementation teams, Product Managers, Architects, and IT to deliver strategic and tactical solutions, supported by a track record of successful and timely project delivery.
