Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to optimize, secure, and continuously improve our multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Your focus will include:
• Cost reduction
• Security enhancement
• Implementing scalable compute solutions
This role will directly influence infrastructure strategies, workload distribution, and compliance across our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Architecture & Cost Optimization
• Evaluate AWS, GCP, and Azure infrastructures for inefficiencies.
• Recommend and implement cost-reducing architectural changes.
• Continuously monitor resource usage and provide actionable insights.
2. Multicloud Strategy & Migration
• Strategically migrate workloads across cloud providers based on cost, performance, and compliance.
• Integrate hybrid or on-premise solutions where necessary.
3. On-Demand Compute Management
• Design scalable, on-demand computing solutions.
• Optimize ephemeral compute environments for cost-efficiency.
4. Security & Compliance Management
• Enforce strict cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, and network segmentation). • Manage accounts, permissions, and identity tools (e.g., Foxpass).
• Establish standardized security baselines for Linux and Windows.
5. Infrastructure as Code & Automation
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible) for version-controlled deployments.
• Automate provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and routine tasks.
6. Containerization & Orchestration
• Develop and optimize Dockerized workloads (CPU/GPU).
• Utilize Kubernetes, GKE, ECS for scalable and portable environments.
7. Remote Access & Tool Integration
• Optimize remote administration tools (VNC, RDP, TeamViewer).
• Manage GPU deployments across Linux and Windows.
8. Monitoring, Alerting & Incident Response
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions.
• Lead incident response initiatives and ensure system reliability.
Required:
• 10+ years in a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineering role managing production-scale workloads.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure with cost optimization experience. • Proven ability to manage on-demand compute and ephemeral infrastructure. • Strong Linux and Windows server administration skills.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and GPU-based workloads.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, and monitoring frameworks.
• Extra points for knowledge in pipelines (jenkins, bitbucket pipelines, gitlab, gihub actions, airflow etc.)
Preferred:
• Experience with hybrid and on-premise integrations.
• Familiarity with identity management solutions like Foxpass.
• Skilled with multiple remote administration tools in complex environments.
