  • Work directly with structural engineers and designers within the various project teams to develop modular and efficient gas burners and solid fuel systems
  • Investigate performance limitations and opportunities through simulation and physical modelling at both component and system level.
  • Work directly with the test and mechanical team to develop testing plans, fixtures and methods to aid in the verification and optimisation of designs.
  • Proactively look for issues that may arise within designs that may lead to product inefficiencies directly with the combustion systems or the areas surrounding them.
  • Actively advance our goal of product energy efficiency.
  • Produce high standard and clear technical reports that provide insight for the project teams to action project developments now or in future projects.

  • The ability to interpret and leverage large datasets to extract trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships across departments and confidently contribute under pressure.
  • A results-driven attitude, with confidence in decision-making and adaptability to thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Experience of development and certification requirements of LPG and natural gas burners is essential.
  • Experience of development and certification requirements of high efficiency solid fuel system design is also desirable.
