Senior Commercial Director - Executive Compensation Services

The position
We're seeking a dynamic, commercially astute Senior Commercial Director for our Executive Compensation Services team in our Global Markets Team to spearhead the growth of our technology-backed incentive plan administration services and support our annual global ECS sales targets. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving business development, and delivering strategic solutions to complex client needs. CSC has developed, in conjunction with a market leader is equity compensation SAAS, a new platform to service all incentive plan types on which will be market leading and give us the edge in servicing clients, particularly in the financial services and private capital sectors.
As part of this role, your key focus areas would be:
  • Equity Plan Administration: Lead our sales effort for our advanced technology platform across public, private, and PE-backed companies in the UK and potentially beyond
  • Non-Equity Incentive Plan Administration: Promote our unique, market-leading solution to financial services clients - both existing and new. Specifically, the ability to sell bonus deferrals into funds, carried interest and co-investment schemes and where relevant, employer savings schemes.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Act as a bridge between ECS and the wider CSC Global Markets Team and Sales Teams, leveraging cross-functional initiatives to amplify impact.

You'll be based in our London office (Canary Wharf) and collaborate closely with our Channel Islands ECS team and sales organisation in London and EMEA. We are a global business and travel across the UK, Europe and beyond may be a required remit as you take our offering to market.
Your responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert guidance on incentive structures and tailor administrative solutions using the ECS product suite to satisfy client needs and requirements.
  • Showcase and demonstrate our plan administration platform to clients across all plan types.
  • Maintain and build industry profile at conferences, events and business partner meetings.
  • Coordinate prospect proposals and pitches with confidence and strategic insight.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and sales tracking on Salesforce, capturing all commercial activities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, team members, and business partners.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities and support RFI and fee proposal development.
  • Play an active role in ECS global growth and senior leadership collaboration.
  • Activate the global sales community to support ECS sales and campaigns, including thought leadership delivery.

Your profile:
  • Based close to London (Canary Wharf) with flexibility to travel.
  • Degree-level education, ideally with a relevant professional qualification.
  • Proven expertise in employment-related reward structures, including share plans, deferred compensation, carried interest, pensions, or similar.
  • Greater than 10 years relevant experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of business development success.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and a desire to grow into a senior leadership role.
  • Proven record of using and understanding of plan administration technology.
