The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Consolidation Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. Based in Belgium or the UK (hybrid), you’ll own the Group’s consolidated financial reporting across our multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structure and play a key role in keeping our close cycle sharp and audit-ready.
Job requirements
  • 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in group consolidation within a multi-entity, international environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, including financial statement preparation and full disclosure notes.
  • Proven experience supporting multi-entity statutory and group audits, with exposure to international tax matters.
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) or Master’s in Business Administration. IT-minded: advanced Excel, comfortable in NetSuite (or comparable ERP) and consolidation software, curious about AI tools.
 
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a PE-backed environment.
  • Background in SaaS, life sciences, clinical trials, or a regulated technology sector.
  • French language skills, given the Belgium base.

Job responsibilities
  • Prepare and review IFRS-compliant consolidated accounts and full disclosure notes across Belgium, the UK, Poland, and the US.
  • Own the reconciliation and review of the consolidated Balance Sheet and P&L, ensuring accuracy and a clean, timely close each period.
  • Coordinate intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and consolidation adjustments group-wide. Act as the primary point of contact for group and statutory audits across all jurisdictions. Identify and drive improvements to the close and reporting cycle, leveraging NetSuite, consolidation software, and AI-enabled tools.
