About Us

TravelPerk is a hyper-growth SaaS business travel platform and a pioneer in the future of travel for work. Its all-in-one platform gives travelers the freedom they want whilst providing companies with the control they need. The result saves time, money, and hassle for everyone.

TravelPerk has industry-leading travel inventory alongside powerful management features, 24/7 customer support, state-of-the-art technology, and consumer-grade design.

Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Barcelona, we’ve grown to over 1,400 people across Europe and North America. In 2022 we became a ‘unicorn’ and in 2025 we raised $200 million in a Series E funding round, increasing our valuation of $2.7 billion.

We’ve been winning awards too. Since 2023, we’ve been voted one of the best places to work, one of the fastest-growing apps and tech companies, and a leading pioneer of business travel.

These are just some of the reasons why global brands like Wise, Red Bull, GetYourGuide, and Aesop trust us to get the most out of their travel

The role

We are looking for an experienced content designer to join our team. Content design is at the heart of our design process and you'll be working side-by-side with product designers, product managers, engineers, and user researchers to shape the future of business travel.

As a senior, you’ll be leading strategic content and UX projects across your tribe and squads. You're an ideal candidate if you're just as happy supporting the product strategy and setting standards as you are crafting clear and concise interface copy and helpful error messages. You’ll do your best work in an environment that requires proactive and independent self-direction as much as collaboration and open communication.

What you’ll do

Craft

  • Simplify complex problems and technical information into clear, user-friendly, and accessible content
  • Map end-to-end user journeys to identify pain points and define content that supports user needs
  • Ensure content quality by reviewing work, mentoring colleagues, and upholding TravelPerk standards
  • Gather data and insights to back content decisions and guide content direction
  • Plan and conduct user research to deeply understand user needs and shape content strategies

Strategy

  • Develop and lead the content strategy for your product area, balancing business goals and user needs
  • Create, improve, and implement efficient processes, collaborative workflows, and content standards
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to align content decisions with broader business objectives

Behaviours

  • Influence decisions, deal with conflicting priorities, and remove blockers to keep projects moving
  • Be a vocal and visible advocate for content design best practice and the value it brings to both the user and the business

Team support

  • Lead content design efforts within your teams and product area, collaborating closely with product designers, managers, researchers, and engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and collaboration meetings to align and improve content decisions with stakeholders and peers
  • Clearly explain content design decisions and rationale to build trust and alignment across teams and stakeholders

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • Proven experience leading content design projects and strategies for digital products
  • Examples of successfully delivering large or complex content design projects from start to finish
  • Experience creating, embedding, and maintaining content standards, style guides, and tone of voice guidelines

Skills

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Professional fluency in English, with strong grammar, vocabulary, and knowledge of UK or US language conventions
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end user journeys and how content impacts them
  • Experienced in using emerging technologies, like generative AI, to support content design

Mindset

  • A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced product team
  • A champion of accessible and inclusive content, with a strong belief in its importance for great user experiences
  • Passion and alignment with TravelPerk’s mission and values

Collaboration

  • Comfortable conducting and using insights from user research to improve content and user experience
  • Strong communication skills to explain content decisions, influence stakeholders, and align on strategy

Why you’ll love our team

You’ll join a team of 40 Product Designers, Content Designers and Researchers, with multiple nationalities, backgrounds and personalities. You will be working in a highly collaborative environment where feedback, transparency, and support are at the core of what we do. We lean on each others strengths and we save competitiveness for the occasional after-work Pictionary game.

We value autonomy, proactivity, and creativity. We create time, space, and opportunities for you to think, experiment, and share ideas. And we firmly believe in prioritising impact over effort.

Your career and development are supported by our Competency Framework and regular development conversations. We offer a transparent career path - whether you will want to progress as an individual contributor or as a design manager.

How we work
Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk is the platform for human connection in real life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in person 3 days a week. For roles in Customer Care, this can be up to 5 days per week in the office. As such, this role requires you to be within commuting distance of our hubs. We fundamentally believe in meeting in real life to improve connectivity, productivity, and creativity, ultimately making us a great workplace.

At TravelPerk, we prioritize experience and potential over academic qualifications for this role. We believe that talent and ability aren't always reflected in formal credentials.

TravelPerk is a global company with a diverse customer base—and we want to ensure that the people behind our product reflect that. We're an equal opportunity employer, meaning you're welcome at TravelPerk regardless of your appearance, where you're from, or anything else that makes you.

All official communications will come from email addresses ending in @travelperk.com, our main social channels, or verified recruiters on LinkedIn linked to our official accounts.

From traditional pubs and centuries-old universities to sleek shopping malls and glass-paneled office buildings, Edinburgh's architecture reflects its unique blend of history and modernity. But the fusion of past and future isn't just visible in its buildings; it's also shaping the city's economy. Named the United Kingdom's leading technology ecosystem outside of London, Edinburgh plays host to major global companies like Apple and Adobe, as well as a growing number of innovative startups in fields like cybersecurity, finance and healthcare.
