About CoLab

At CoLab, we help mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner.
CoLab is the AI platform for driving stronger engineering decisions. Every design review in CoLab builds a knowledge repository of design feedback, decisions, and lessons learned - which AI agents draw from to flag issues on future designs before they compound. The more your team works in CoLab, the smarter it gets and the faster you arrive at the ideal design. Companies like Ford, Komatsu, and Johnson Controls use CoLab to catch issues earlier, eliminate rework cycles, and bring products to market faster.
Founded in St. John’s, Newfoundland, CoLab has grown quickly from our first customer in 2019 to a rapidly scaling company. We’ve recently been recognized on Deloitte’s Fast 50™ and Fast 500™, and named a Canadian company to watch by The Globe and Mail and Financial Post.

About the Role

We’re investing in a small number of high-quality, recurring content series that serve engineering leaders and technical decision-makers. As Senior Content Marketing Manager, you’ll own the execution and performance of those series. You’ll take clear strategic direction and turn it into consistent, well-produced installments that people look forward to.

This is role where you need to treat content like a product:

  • It must be differentiated, with a clear hook
  • It needs smart distribution
  • It needs performance tracking and iteration

You’ll work closely with Product Marketing, Demand, Design, and external partners to make sure every installment ships on time and drives meaningful engagement.

Our Ideal Candidate

You want to own something that matters: not random blog posts, not “supporting content.” A flagship series — the kind that builds a brand. You look at Gong Labs or Carta’s Data Desk and think: I want to be the person who owns that.

You understand that great series don’t happen by accident. They require:

  • Clear positioning
  • Real subject matter expertise
  • Consistent production
  • Smart distribution
  • Relentless iteration

You’re frustrated by environments where content is reactive, under-resourced, or disconnected from strategy. At CoLab, you’ll own recurring series with real company buy-in, access to credible experts, and support from Product Marketing, Demand, and Design. We care about the full audience lifecycle, not just publishing.

This role isn’t about inventing strategy from scratch. It’s about taking clear direction and building something that compounds. If you want to be the person who builds the defining content series for the next high-growth SaaS brand — this is that opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end execution of two recurring content series
  • Shape SME conversations into well-positioned, differentiated installments
  • Manage production timelines across internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure alignment with CoLab’s messaging and product positioning
  • Develop repeatable distribution plans across LinkedIn, email, and owned channels
  • Track performance and recommend format, positioning, and channel optimizations
  • Build scalable processes for content production and promotion
Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience in B2B content marketing or editorial roles
  • Proven track record of owning recurring content for a B2B brand or media organization
  • Demonstrated success working with technical subject matter experts
  • Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging narratives
  • A deep understanding of what it takes not just to publish content, but to build an audience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Experience distributing content and measuring performance
Bonus:
  • Experience marketing to engineering, manufacturing, or technical buyers
  • Experience working with media or publishing partners
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and analytics tools
Extra Details
  • Full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and stock options
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Extended health benefits and RRSP matching (Canada)
  • Employer sponsored health coverage and 401K matching (US)
  • Remote-friendly across North America; hybrid available in St. John’s, NL
