Overview of the role:

The PokerStars Creative & Content team has an amazing opportunity for a Senior Creative Manager – to lead across creative development, production and delivery of PokerStars output from design, copy and motion through to short form video for Digital and Organic Social, plus the ongoing development of long-form content for YouTube. The goal of the Creative & Content team is to deliver exceptional, tailored to channel, design, creative and content that engages and expands PokerStars’ audiences and inspires play.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What you’ll do:

This role sits within the department’s leadership team, bringing together internal and freelance designers, copywriters, producers and editors to deliver our core creative output and is responsible for driving standout production along-side the Senior Manager, Content, Head of Creative and Associate Director Creative & Content.

Key responsibilites include:

  • Develop category leading creative to brief and present to stakeholders

  • Lead end-to-end production across design, copy, static, motion and video production

  • Develop better working practices across teams to bring the different disciplines together more effectively

  • Support across live event design

  • Lead across motion projects

  • Build our roster of talented freelancers to meet output requirements.

  • Inspire teams to pursue innovative and compelling ways to deliver multi-channel content to our audiences

  • Work with our internal commercial stakeholders to develop more compelling propositions with a content-first approach

  • Work with the Brand team to analyse the data and understand what creative is and isn’t working

  • Support across live event content production

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven years of creative development and production experience

  • A natural and curious creative on the cutting edge of current trends and innovations

  • Strong leader who can galvanise personnel from varied production disciplines

  • Experience managing teams of designers, motion graphics operators, copywriters, producers and editors

  • Strong understanding of and passion for motion graphics production

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to sell in creative

  • A critical eye who can provide sensitive, constructive feedback

  • A creative and logistics problem solver

  • Highly organised and forward thinking

  • Adaptable and quick to pivot

  • Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with an adaptable and positive attitude
