Your Contribution
Build high‑impact ETL pipelines that cleanse, enrich, and normalize healthcare data in our cloud data lake – the backbone of our analytics and products.
Design and implement Python‑based data workflows with Spark and Airflow, seamlessly connecting internal systems and external data providers.
Use state‑of‑the‑art privacy techniques (e.g. differential privacy, PII substitution) to turn sensitive data into secure, compliant, and usable assets.
Raise the bar for software quality with automated unit and integration tests, robust CI/CD pipelines, and thorough code reviews.
Lead the evolution of our global data landscape on GCP and/or Azure, working closely with an agile, interdisciplinary team and taking end‑to‑end ownership.
What You Bring
At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer working with GCP and/or Azure in complex, data‑driven environments.
A completed degree, preferably from a renowned university, in (Medical) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a comparable qualification.
An agile mindset and strong enthusiasm for modern cloud data architectures, from ingestion pipelines to curated datasets.
Deep hands‑on experience with Python‑based ETL on Spark and Airflow, plus NoSQL technologies (e.g. Elasticsearch) and data formats like Parquet.
Excellent English skills (minimum C1), a structured, reliable working style, and a strong drive to push data‑driven innovation in healthcare from concept to production.
