Your Contribution

  • Build high‑impact ETL pipelines that cleanse, enrich, and normalize healthcare data in our cloud data lake – the backbone of our analytics and products.

  • Design and implement Python‑based data workflows with Spark and Airflow, seamlessly connecting internal systems and external data providers.

  • Use state‑of‑the‑art privacy techniques (e.g. differential privacy, PII substitution) to turn sensitive data into secure, compliant, and usable assets.

  • Raise the bar for software quality with automated unit and integration tests, robust CI/CD pipelines, and thorough code reviews.

  • Lead the evolution of our global data landscape on GCP and/or Azure, working closely with an agile, interdisciplinary team and taking end‑to‑end ownership.

What You Bring

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer working with GCP and/or Azure in complex, data‑driven environments.

  • A completed degree, preferably from a renowned university, in (Medical) Informatics, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a comparable qualification.

  • An agile mindset and strong enthusiasm for modern cloud data architectures, from ingestion pipelines to curated datasets.

  • Deep hands‑on experience with Python‑based ETL on Spark and Airflow, plus NoSQL technologies (e.g. Elasticsearch) and data formats like Parquet.

  • Excellent English skills (minimum C1), a structured, reliable working style, and a strong drive to push data‑driven innovation in healthcare from concept to production.
