Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in both Linux and Windows environments, who is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins, and will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient development pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Build and manage Docker container images for a variety of applications and services.
Support and optimize software build and deployment processes across Linux and Windows platforms.
Manage and monitor infrastructure and services hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role.
Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE, etc.) and Windows Server environments.
Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration fundamentals.
Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including compute, networking, storage, and security.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
Knowledge Terraform or other IaC tools.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
