WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the above office location
About this opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our ECP DevOps Team and play a key role in shaping the future of our cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps pipelines and automation frameworks that empower our Feature and Lab teams to deliver faster, safer, and more reliable outcomes. You will technically influence tooling choices, promote standards, advocate DevOps principles.
What You’ll DoLead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness, ensuring seamless integration and delivery across multiple environments
Architect and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling scalable and repeatable deployments on Kubernetes in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Implement and optimise service mesh architectures using Istio, enhancing observability, security, and traffic control across microservices
Collaborate with teams across our Platform to recommend and implement the right DevOps tooling and automation strategies aligned with our enterprise architecture
Continuously improve deployment processes, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high availability and performance
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
Identify and drive improvements in existing systems, processes, and security practices, contributing to initiatives
Manage and track budgets related to DevOps tooling and cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effective solutions
Encourage collaboration and documentation to promote consistency in approaches across teams

What you'll needProven experience in a senior DevOps or cloud engineering role, ideally within a fast-paced, agile environment
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and infrastructure automation using Terraform
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with hands-on experience using Harness or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Experience with Istio or other service mesh technologies in a Kubernetes environment
Solid understanding of DevOps principles, cloud security, and SRE practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
A passion for automation, scalability, and delivering high-quality solutions
