  • Growth experimentation & performance loops: Design and test full-funnel growth strategies for potential products or propositions, continuously learning from performance data, user behaviour, and product-market feedback

  • Digital marketing strategy and content: Develop, test and refine innovative marketing strategies and valuable, relevant and consistent content for new first-of-a-kind, zero-to-one ventures with the potential to disrupt the energy industry.

  • Inbound and outbound marketing: Develop, test and refine campaigns to establish optimal early adopter and early majority ROI including organic and paid search marketing and SEO.

  • Social media marketing and social engagement: Develop, test and refine social marketing plans to maximise communications, relationships and participation.

  • Omni channel marketing: Ensure customer connection, conversion and continuous engagement journeys are consistent across all relevant channels.

  • Engage with customers: Participate and contribute to customer interviews, analyse user needs and validate product-market fit.

Are we the perfect match?

  • Early stage start-up experience: You've seen opportunities from ideation to reality, acquiring real customers and iterating based feedback and analytics.

  • Excellent communications, stakeholder management and matrix skills: You understand the challenges of building something new and are passionate about creating solutions that people love.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: You can identify market opportunities, analyse complex situations, and develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges.

  • Experience with lean start-up methodologies, agile development: You're familiar with iterative marketing plan development and you can extract insights from analytics and user research and translate them into marketing plans.

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and managing marketing budgets and ROI.

  • A self-starter with a bias for action and a relentless focus on achieving results.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience leveraging AI with digital marketing

  • Experience in the energy sector or other highly regulated industries

  • Experience of working as an innovator in a large corporate body

  • Experience in pitching for funding at early stages (Seed or Series A)

We encourage you to apply if you want to lead the energy transition and make a real difference to decarbonising the UK.

  • Work life balance – we work Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM to service our customers and make sure they have an unforgettable experience.

  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays each year – this includes a guaranteed day off for your birthday if you want it.
