Order Management Director

Leeds / Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

The Order Management Director is a critical member of the EMEA Operations team, leading the delivery of our growth strategies in partnership with regional Commercial teams and wider Operations functions. In addition, this role will advance our retailer partnerships, driving collaboration initiatives to ensure outstanding product availability and service, while ‘maniacally eliminating inefficiencies’.

The Order Management Director will leverage a relentless desire to win and drive our continuous improvement ethos that seeks the best solution to deliver the world-class results that SharkNinja has consistently generated over the last decade.


Specifically, the Order Management Director EMEA will:

  • Lead Order Management in delivering the monthly, quarterly and annual sales plan, with best-in-class service at the lowest possible cost.
  • Own daily, weekly and monthly shipment and order status; communicating delivery forecast ranges throughout the month to Senior Leadership.
  • Partner with Commercial teams to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the retailer landscape, while simultaneously identifying sales risks early and developing and executing mitigations.
  • Lead and develop the EMEA Order Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, and building opportunities for career development.
  • Drive improvements and process standardisation to eliminate inefficiencies across all retailer accounts.
  • Develop integrated retailer partnerships that deliver joint value across service and cost, including retailer compliance resolution and prevention. Be the face of SharkNinja Operations with Retailer partners.
  • Define and deliver against key metrics for Order Management and end-to-end supply chain, including on time and in full service >98%.
  • Advance order management tools, technologies and reporting capabilities in partnership with Global teams.
  • Work with suppliers and partners to ensure high standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in the regulatory landscape, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Take on additional operations projects as requested and partner with leaders in other business functions to drive operational improvements.

 

Professional Experience / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be an operations and/or supply chain expert with leadership experience in organisations known for world-class supply chain capabilities. This leader must be a proactive, action-oriented leader with the ability to quickly solve complex problems and a “make it happen” attitude. This leader must also have strong experience partnering with and influencing cross functional teams, including Commercial, Logistics, and Planning. Most importantly, this individual must balance the strategic and hands-on requirements of this position with a flexible working style and a proven ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally, this leader will bring:

  • Exceptional order management / customer service / order-to-cash experience in a UK & EU multi-channel business environment, with exposure and knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams and leading remote / international team members.
  • Successful track of implementing efficient processes for a rapidly growing company.
  • Experience partnering with retailers to streamline operations and deliver joint value.
  • Proven experience in using data (KPIs) in a measurable way to drive continuous improvement across supply chain functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to develop, measure and improve operating results.
  • Experience working with 3rd party logistics providers to deliver incredible service while driving operational improvement / efficiency and reducing cost.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop solutions.
  • A team-oriented and collaborative approach. Proven results building effective long-term relationships at all levels, internally and externally, and going the extra mile for customers.
  • Unpretentious confidence. Communicate transparently – listen actively and speak respectfully.
  • Ability to communicate for impact, both in writing and verbally.
  • Operate with a strong work ethic and an unrelenting resolve to follow through and meet commitments.
  • A demonstrated willingness to learn, roll-up their sleeves and set an example for the team as a “doer.”
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands with a high sense of urgency.
  • Experience in planning and S&OP is considered a plus.

 EDUCATION and OTHER SKILLS

  • Relevant degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent is required.
  • At least 10 years of industry-related experience including five years in a senior leadership role.
