Tasks and Qualifications:We are looking for someone with extensive experience in UI development with strong Javascript or Typescript, HTML and CSS skills to work in our Manchester office. As a frontend developer you will be working on the full lifecycle of frontend development, this includes working with UX team members and contributing to design yourself, development, testing, and support. You will be part of the R&D team, developing a new UI platform and standardised UI building blocks to be used by all projects – both solutions delivered to the customer and internal tools, across the whole of Dematic. You’ll be able to help lead the developers on the team, both by reviewing code and leading by example.

Essential Skills:
· Able to influence technological direction of the team
· Ability to mentor junior developers on the team
• In-depth knowledge and experience Javascript / Typescript
• In-depth knowledge and experience Working knowledge of any major UI framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in using HTML5
• Strong proficiency in using CSS / Sass/ Less
• Use of web bundlers (Webpack, Parcel etc.)
• Experience using Git
• Experience using Unix based environments
• Has an eye for what looks good
• Self-starter with the desire to learn and improve.
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• A team player with a desire to learn more
• You like a challenge and are willing to take responsibility
Desirable Skills:
• Prototyping and Wireframing
• Experience using Javascript testing frameworks (Jest, QUnit etc.)
