As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead IAM and PAM solutions implementation, ensuring secure access, and automating processes while providing expert-level support.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
As a Senior BizOps Infrastructure Engineer (IAM), you'll be the driving force behind our identity-first security strategy. You'll design, implement, and champion cutting-edge IAM and PAM solutions, ensuring that access to our systems and data is secure, efficient, and compliant with regulations like NYDFS. This is a highly impactful and empowering role, where your expertise will directly influence the security posture of our organisation.
You will report to the bizOps Infrastructure Lead whose style is to empower passionate problem-solvers to collaborate, innovate and do their best work in a super positive and lively work environment.
As one of our Senior BizOps Infrastructure Engineers, you’ll be a:
- IAM Architect: Design and implement a robust IAM framework, leveraging Okta, to streamline user lifecycle management, secure access controls, and drive adoption of SSO and self-service capabilities.
- PAM Expert: Lead the implementation and maintenance of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution, ensuring that critical systems are protected from unauthorised access. You'll define policies, implement JIT access, and monitor privileged activity for potential threats.
- Security Champion: Act as a subject matter expert on identity-first security principles and advocate for best practices across the organisation. You'll collaborate with other teams to integrate IAM and PAM into our broader security fabric.
- Automation Enthusiast: Automate repetitive IAM and PAM tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and IaC tools, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of human error.
- Project Manager: Lead and contribute to IAM and PAM related projects, collaborating with stakeholders, defining scope, and driving successful outcomes.
- Operational Support: Provide expert-level support for IAM and PAM and infrastructure related issues, troubleshooting complex problems and ensuring system availability. Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Infrastructure Generalist: Contribute to the overall management and maintenance of our cloud-based IT infrastructure (AWS/SaaS), endpoints and networks, demonstrating a broad understanding of networking, endpoint management, and other core technologies.
We’re looking for someone who has a:
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Okta and other IAM solutions.
- Knowledge of cloud PAM concepts and experience with PAM tools and systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and/or IaC tools.
- Strong third line endpoint management experience (intune/jamf)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with project management methodologies and best practices.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and operations concepts.
