OVERVIEW

The Senior Project Manager will both manage accounts directly assigned to them (project planning, execution, tracking, delivery and closure using Welocalize standard processes and tools) and will support an Enterprise Program Manager in large enterprise accounts.

A Senior PM will own relationships with the customer at the project level and work closely with Account Directors and Production teams to optimize delivery, client satisfaction, quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate is a driven but steady individual, capable of building relationships across the entire project team, with the flexibility and energy to thrive in a dynamic environment

MAIN DUTIES

  • Supervise and lead global teams, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare, analyze, and implement project plans according to Welocalize standards.
  • Create and manage project schedules, estimates, and proposals for client approval.
  • Conduct risk assessments and strategic planning to mitigate potential issues.
  • Manage QA projects, including resource and defect management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on project objectives and communication.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation as needed.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate financial data and reporting, including project profitability.
  • Plan and conduct quarterly business reviews with clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with relevant translation and localization tools (MemoQ, XTM)
  • Proven track record of Project Management and/or Quality Management;
  • Experience delivering program initiatives, particularly with some overlap with internal innovations;
  • Experience working internationally or directly with international product development;
  • Proven experience dealing with large clients and track record of success at managing large accounts/projects;
  • Experience in authoring client documents such as SOW’s, proposals, processes and ‘postmortems’;
  • Proven track record of active participation in development of processes and ideas;
  • Proven track record of active participation in new client sales cycles, incl. presentations, analysis, recommendations and relationship development;
  • Experience in managing financial budgets, budget reconciliation and budget reporting;
  • Adopting, implementing, and governing agile processes and practices;
  • Creating, monitoring and reporting OKRs result progress on a weekly basis; proactively identifying actions and opportunities to achieve and exceed objectives.

Education Level

  • Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree and experience in the industry in lieu of Master’s Degree acceptable, or equivalent combination of work experience.
