We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM). The successful candidate will drive research and development, generate insightful reports, perform comprehensive data analysis, and optimise workflows and intelligent agents within the AI industry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge machine learning models, intelligent agents, and data processing pipelines with a strong focus on NLP and LLM technologies. Contribute to research initiatives and produce detailed reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop scalable and efficient methods for large-scale data analysis, extracting actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their business needs and optimize workflows, enhancing decision-making processes by integrating intelligent systems.
  • Work closely with the team to design and develop robust data processing pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and scalability of machine learning solutions.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing, with a strong grasp of contemporary ML and DL libraries.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) with Python 3 and its core libraries, including NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, and visualization tools like Matplotlib and Plotly.
  • Proficiency in text analysis and NLP techniques.
  • Experience with Large Language Model libraries such as Langchain and LlamaIndex.
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks, including Autogen and CrewAI.
  • Demonstrated outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), containerization tools (e.g., Docker), and virtual environments (e.g., Conda/Virtualenv).
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience with administering and optimizing databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) for efficient data retrieval and storage, particularly in the context of machine learning applications.
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis and experimental design to validate model performance and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines to ensure data quality and accessibility for machine learning workflows.
  • A track record of published research in reputable AI/ML conferences or journals, showcasing expertise in the field.
