This role is critical to Velotic’s ability to scale effectively across EMEA. This role is responsible for driving compliant, commercially-aligned people operations across the region; leading complex employee and industrial relations (preferably with deep expertise in French labor law); and partnering with global HR and senior leadership to implement talent and organizational strategies that support Velotic's growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable setting strategy and executing it; a senior HR leader who operates with autonomy, brings sound judgment, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

  • Advise and support CHRO and Velotic leaders on all EMEA people-related topics.
  • Provide effective and constructive employee and industrial relations across EMEA.
  • Secure HR compliance across EMEA (e.g. data protection, H&S, EE consultation, disability inclusion etc.).
  • Implement key global Velotic HR processes for EMEA (e.g. talent management, succession planning etc.).
  • Secure implementation of organisational changes, restructuring initiatives, and growth projects.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), and subject matter experts (SMEs) to drive aligned, integrated people initiatives across the EMEA region.

Employment Law, Industrial Relations and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across all EMEA countries.
  • Secure strong advisory expertise for French labor law and SCE handling.
  • Liaise with local Works Councils/social partners, Unions, authorities and—where needed—local legal counsels.

Employee Relations and Support:

  • Serve as “escalation point” for difficult or problematic employee cases, grievances, dismissals etc.
  • Provide support of senior talent acquisition and recruiting in partnership with Talent Acquisition team.

  • Self-starter but team player, with strong communication skills.
  • Solution orientation, pragmatic approach, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong language requirements: Fluent Business English and native French; fluency in any other of Velotic’s key European languages very welcome: Italian, German, Danish, Romanian, Spanish.
