About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Partnerships to join our Pay-In team who will be a crucial catalyst as we continue to expand our global payments infrastructure.

In this role, you'll play a key part in executing Remitly's Pay-In partnership strategy, working closely with PSPs, banks, aggregators, card networks, local and alternative payment methods, and domestic payment schemes. You will manage and grow existing relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and execute partnership initiatives that improve payment performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment and is passionate about making financial services more inclusive and accessible. This will be a hybrid role, reporting into our Director of Business Development in London.

You Will:

  • Manage and deepen relationships with key Pay-In partners, including PSPs, banks, aggregators, and local or alternative payment method providers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute against the global Pay-In strategy, ensuring partner initiatives align with Remitly's growth and performance goals.
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for partners — building trust, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to improve collaboration and results.
  • Support commercial negotiations, renewals, and contract management to secure optimal commercial and operational outcomes.
  • Monitor partner performance, including authorization rates, costs, and service quality, and work with partners to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure deals and relationships are aligned with Remitly's policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support new integrations, improve existing connections, and launch new payment methods.
  • Work closely with Operations and Risk teams to optimize partner performance and address issues that impact customer experience.
  • Provide reporting to leadership on partner performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stay informed on developments in the global payments ecosystem — including PSP trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in local and alternative payment methods.
  • Represent Remitly at partner meetings and industry events to strengthen relationships and maintain market visibility.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships or relationship management within payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Deep understanding of the Pay-In ecosystem — including PSPs, banks, aggregators, local and alternative payment methods, card networks, and domestic payment schemes.
  • Proven experience managing and growing complex, high-value commercial relationships.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience with negotiation and contract management.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actions.
  • A passion for Remitly's mission and a customer-first mindset.

Preferred:

  • Experience working at or with global card networks, major PSPs, or banks.
  • Familiarity with alternative and local payment methods, open banking, and emerging Pay-In innovations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA a plus.

Our Benefits:

  • Paid Vacation Days
  • Health insurance
  • Commuter benefit
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
