Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Private Wealth team in Jersey.

What You'll Do -

  • Manage a complex client portfolio with a revenue return of approximately £2.5m, providing senior-level technical expertise and support to junior staff.
  • Lead and develop a Client Administration Team, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational excellence, and adherence to risk management processes.
  • Drive commercial objectives by effectively managing the P&L for the Client Portfolio, including revenue targets, billable utilisation rates, and cash collections.
  • Foster a client service mentality and strong business development culture within the team, actively participating in client visits and fee reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements, while staying abreast of industry changes.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with intermediaries and internal contacts.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve processes and drive operational excellence across the business.
  • Manage team members' career development through effective 'Everyday Conversations' and identifying training needs.
  • Provide technical support for complex client transactions and oversee the administration of client entities within the portfolio.
  • Actively participate in and support business-wide projects, financial initiatives, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

What You Bring -

  • CGI or STEP qualified or relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent understanding of Trust Company Business laws, fiduciary duties, and industry best practices
  • Strong IT knowledge and proficiency with relevant applications
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Risk-aware with high levels of integrity and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of taxation impacts on trust and corporate structures (preferred)
