The Role:
The Sr. Manager of Salesforce CRM will be responsible for managing our Sales and Marketing technology stack including Salesforce. The ideal candidate must be passionate about enhancing the user experience through technology and eager to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic and fast-growing company. The successful candidate will lead the development of the technology roadmap for our sales and marketing technology stack focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and enablement. In this role, you'll identify opportunities to improve our technology stack, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and leverage your expertise to recommend changes that reduce friction points. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and data-driven decision-making, you'll be at the forefront of creating a seamless user experience while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead a team, be flexible, well-rounded, self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly skilled at understanding and translating business pain points into a robust roadmap and operating plan. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud with strong experience in Salesforce CPQ. The preferred timezone for this candidate is EST.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Salesforce administrators and foster an environment of continuous learning and development
  • Implement and manage advanced Salesforce configurations such as objects, flows, validation rules, page layouts and field level permissions, custom fields, record types, and apps.
  • Lead optimization of Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirements, by driving reduction of quote errors and improved sales efficiency to create the best user experience.
  • Manage CPQ configuration, product rules, pricing rules, discount schedules, and approval processes.
  • Oversee onboarding and off-boarding processes related to Salesforce and complimentary tech, including management of user roles, profiles, permissions and access settings
  • Establish and enforce best practices for data hygiene and integrity and create processes to perform regular data quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
  • Work with APIs and third-party applications such as Boomi to integrate Salesforce with other systems such as NetSuite
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand business challenges, gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions to drive enhance efficiency and alignment with business needs.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documents relating to system design.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like perpetual and subscription-based licensing, various discounting models, amendments, extensions, co-terming and renewals.
  • Lead Salesforce projects related to integration of acquired companies, from scoping to implementation, ensuring timelines and objectives are met and data migration strategy is executed accurately.
  • Oversee Salesforce updates and new feature deployments, ensuring compatibility and stability. Manage sandbox environments and deployment processes.
  • Provide advanced training sessions, workshops, and documentation for users to enhance user experience and capabilities and own the internal escalation management process.
  • Ownership for complimentary sales and marketing technology stack such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, Marketo, etc.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A motivated individual with a minimum of 10+ years of Salesforce experience with 4+ years of recent Salesforce CPQ experience and the last 4+ years managing a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end quote-to-order (QTO) process.
  • Project management experience required, showcasing the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects effectively.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.


Assets:

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce features and capabilities, including advanced tools like Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Proven experience in engagement management, leading projects and project teams plus the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and design innovative solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, CPQ, Platform App Builder, or Application Architect).
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with clients, document requirements, and articulate the value proposition and business case for Business Transformation solutions.
  • Willingness to actively participate in internal business leadership, practice development, and initiatives focused on growth and development of team members.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $150,000.00-$190,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
