Job Description

   

Join SUSE's Field Marketing team as a Senior Marketing Manager. This is a unique opportunity where you will directly own and execute the regional marketing strategy for Benelux & North EMEA region at SUSE.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality who can foster strong alignment with sales and regional partners,  while delivering marketing programs that generate significant pipeline.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Regional Marketing Strategy: Develop and own the field and channel marketing strategy for the MENA region. You will analyze market trends and collaborate closely with sales leadership to create an integrated plan that supports regional business objectives and pipeline targets.

  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: You will manage, mentor, and inspire a small team of marketing professionals across the North-EMEA region. You'll foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture, conduct regular performance reviews, and champion professional development to build an effective and engaged team.

  • Demand Generation Excellence: Deliver operational excellence by planning and executing a diverse portfolio of demand generation programs, including digital campaigns, webinars, physical and virtual events and co-marketing initiatives with partners. You will be accountable for the MENA regional marketing budget with the focus of maximizing ROI.

  • Stakeholder Alignment & Influence: Serve as the key marketing contact for the sales and partner teams in your region. You will build and maintain effective working relationships, influencing stakeholders and negotiating priorities to ensure marketing and sales are seamlessly aligned for shared success.

  • Performance & Measurement: Own the results of your region. You will rigorously measure and analyze marketing program performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders and using data to continuously optimize your strategy and drive predictable pipeline.

  • Budget Management: Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal ROI on all spend. 

What You’ll Bring:
  • Strong experience in a B2B enterprise software marketing role with 7+ years in a field marketing position at a tech company

  • Experience leading and mentoring a team

  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategizing and translating business goals into impactful, integrated marketing plans that drive measurable results.

  • A strong aptitude for executing with excellence;  a hands-on marketer with experience managing budgets and a broad mix of tactics, from digital marketing to in-person events.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of relating effectively with and influencing sales leaders,  senior stakeholders and our channel partners.

  • A deep sense of accountability, with a data-driven mindset and experience using CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and Marketing Automation platforms to track, measure, and report on campaign performance and pipeline contribution.

  • Business fluency in English and Dutch

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
