Position Overview:

At GME, we are on a mission with our agency partners to create impactful and memorable brand experiences and strategies that resonate with targeted consumers worldwide. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Marketing Manager to join our Global Marketing Excellence team and help us achieve our vision.

The Senior Consumer Marketing Manager of Global Marketing Excellence (GME), Consumer is accountable for the development of global brand and marketing creative. This role supports the development of consumer and direct-to-consumer (DTC) materials globally. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, Global Marketing Excellence, you will be at the forefront of driving our brand's creative vision and ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints. 

As part of the GME, this Senior Marketing Manager will supervise and lead strategic account management and project management to ensure marketing deliverables are executed on strategy, budget, and time. This will involve close partnership with the internal/external creatives, marketing operations, and marketing managers on key initiatives for the franchise and US/International team. They will partner closely with these teams to refine targeting, positioning and ultimately, the agency project and creative brief.  They bring success to the team through effective relationship management, and value creation by leveraging the full capability of all creative resources. They work closely with the other product marketing teams (Consumer, Public Relations, Channel, Partners) in delivering and exceeding expectations for creative execution performed by the internal/external creative teams. In addition, this person will also work closely with corporate communications, human resources and other functions on Insulet related corporate brand projects.   If you are passionate about marketing and ready to make a significant impact on our brand's future, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the global commercial teams to build the Omnipod brand and develop creative executions that create a positive emotional connection with targets. Constantly look for ways to deepen brand equity and grow the global business.  
  • Drive a 360 vision for the consumer creative campaign idea globally—support connection to all touchpoints- digital, PR, paid, organic, influencers, etc.  
  • Be the heart of the consumer mindset for our marketing partners and the GME – drive insights and strategy. Stay current on consumer social trends and bring insights to the broader organization.  
  • Drive Global Consumer creative effectiveness to drive increased awareness, interest and action. You will be responsible for creative timelines and associated tasks for work assigned to the Omnipod creative team for a variety of consumer campaigns and launch deliverables across different markets. You will manage expectations, objectives, timelines and – negotiate dates and scopes of work as needed. 
  • Closely collaborate with various team members across Omnipod Global Marketing teams, external agencies, and third-party vendors to execute work.  
  • You will assess and streamline creative project workflows, ensuring that each step of the process, from initiation to final execution, is efficient and effective. This involves optimizing internal resource allocation, reducing bottlenecks, and eliminating unnecessary steps to expedite delivery. 
  • You will collaborate closely with the rest of the GME team to plan and forecast budgetary requirements to optimize resource allocation for creative projects, 
  • Consult with global franchise and downstream / international marketing teams on targeting, insights, and positioning where appropriate. 
  • Work with global cross functional downstream marketers and franchise product marketing managers to develop quality creative briefs and lead creative development with creative agency 
  • Championing the brand internally and externally making sure all elements of the company and key stakeholders understand the brand and its goals 
  • Drive Global Consumer Brand Consistency-- Develop strategy/creative briefs to lead the advertising agency and development of new advertising campaign(s) 
  • Develop new processes to support global marketing organization and translate US marketing successes for global consumption 
  • Be the center of excellence for all global marketers bringing new ideas to the table, monitoring the competition and helping to advise on best practices. 
  • Participate in the development of marketing training and potenially teach the courses as well 
  • Performs other duties as required 

Preferred Skills and Competencies:       

  • Experience working on global consumer brands with international deliverables. Candidates must have keen insight into European market intricacies and market dynamics.  

    Relevant experience in a consumer marketing-driven organization 

    Desire to make a significant impact on the lives of those with diabetes, their families and friends 

    Experience working on consumer lead FDA approved / HIPPA regulated products ideal, but not required 

    High emotional intelligence and ability to successfully collaborate across all levels and disciplines on a global scale. 

    Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to make recommendations: comfortable thinking and talking about analytical questions 

    A keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing global creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency. 

    Strong understanding of market trends, consumer insights, and cultural nuances to create impactful and relevant designs. 

    Strong project management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate and present creative concepts to stakeholders. 

    Leverage highly effective written and verbal communication skills with peers and leadership; help represent the Marketing organization to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership 

    Demonstrated track record of leading both development and execution of strategic plans to drive customer acquisition and improve retention across different markets, including translating it into the digital space 

    Intellectual curiosity, including the willingness to dig in and learn more about things 

    Excellent written, graphic and verbal communication skills, skills in PowerPoint and the ability to present concisely to influence others a plus 

    Desire to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple priorities, while having fun along the way! 

Physical Requirements (if applicable):         

•    East coast based and ideally driving distance to Acton, MA or UK based candidate, commuting distance to London office
•    In the office at least 6 times per year and possibly more as required 
•    International travel required
•    Flexible working hours to accommodate international/US based projects. 
•    Ability to attend project related, consumer events, tradeshows or conferences occasionally  occurring on weekends.
